Composer, singer, pianist. Scott Cleveland does it all. Often seen playing the public piano on Tatamagouche's Main Street, Scott will be in concert at the Grace Jollymore Joyce Arts Centre on Friday, March 31st. What better way to beat the winter blues than with music?
Cleveland will perform a diverse mix of original and favourite Jazz, Blues, R&B, and Classical pieces, including tracks from his newest album "Short Pieces for Solo Piano." Although adjectives like "cross-genre," "alternative," and "eclectic" are overused these days, they really do apply to Cleveland, whose career has spanned everything from Blues to Bartok.
Everyone is invited to enjoy Scott Cleveland's delightful piano playing on Friday, March 31st at 7:30pm at the Grace Jollymore Joyce Arts Centre. Tickets ($15) can be purchased online, at Fulton's Pharmacy in Tatamagouche, or at the door.
